Takara Co, a major Japanese toy maker, said on Wednesday it would launch a device called the "Meowlingual" that can interpret a cat's meow, hoping to repeat its success with the "Bowlingual," a dog translation device.

Takara said the Meowlingual, a palm-sized electronic console that displays the interpreted phrase on a screen, will be priced at 8,800 yen ($74.62) and it would aim to sell 300,000 units by the end of March 2004.

here's an idea: why don't you save your money, and just buy me $74.62 worth of food?

silly daddy went away to willits this weekend. he took his camelbak in case he had to do any hiking around or nature walks, but little did he know, that i had secretly chewed on the camelbak hose months ago! thus, when he tried to drink from the camelbak, he kept getting alot of air, and a lot of dripping water! ha ha ha, that'll show him who's boss. maybe next time he won't leave me at home alone for so long!

daddy's been cooking noodles every day for the past few days. but he won't let me eat any! i keep nosing around, hoping that he'll get the hint, but he keeps shooing me off, telling me that i wouldn't like them. who can resist a yummy bowl of noodles? and how am i supposed to learn to cook like he keeps telling me to if he won't let me taste anything? i discovered that i can eat out of the pot while he's off eating his noodles, and when he hears me eating and chases me, i can then run and eat out of his noodle bowl! yum!
