my mayfly project entry for 2006, which is to sum up the last year in 24 words or less, although somehow i always end up doing a haiku:
flew to asia, hawai’i
still not in L.A.
phew! barely avoided affair.
yay! mfa!
boo! three stupid papers left.
best! walking with meredith.
it’s all about to happen…
i can feel it.
i also learned to
tie my shoes a different way
that’s much more improved
