back to business. the cruel joke in all of this is that while yahoo! maintains their laid-back casual attitude throughout their asian affiliates, they expect you to be dutifully attired in full suit and tie as is standard for doing business in the region. bastards!

at night the sales team took us out to dinner at the ninja restaurant. what’s the ninja restaurant, you ask? why of course, it’s the restaurant that’s run entirely by ninjas! after entering a nondescript door, we entered a small wooden room with a hostess. she called a ninja, who appeared out of a secret door to lead us through another secret door to our table, through catacombs and secret ninja corridors, complete with hidden bridge and ninja traps! and then we were served ninja food ordered off of ninja menus, and drank ninja drinks while being entertained by ninja magicians performing ninja magic.

it was ninjalicious.

I am so freakin jealous you were in Tokyo AND that you ate in a ninja restaurant. Did you know I was a ninja in a past life? I was, I swear!
