five things i learned from aeon flux: the movie

1. great comics/cartoons based on stylized meaningless sexualized violence make for shitty live action hollywood movies (see: tank girl)
2. charlize theron, while by every standard extremely beautiful and thin, still looks too fat for aeon. where’s milla?
3. what the hell is frances macdormand doing in this movie? OR sadly, every actor has their price.
4. anime hair always looks bad in real life.
5. where’s the licking? NOT ENOUGH LICKING.

i do, however, have to give props for them doing the “catch the fly with the eyelash” thing. cool. however, that happens in the first minute, so the rest is pretty much crap.
