what's the yahoo! deal?

ok, so it’s been a month. how is it dealing with yahoo! instead of oracle? well, of course i can’t get into specifics, but it’s weird and crazy. but that could just be me. or the fact that everything’s new(=weird) and i’m not sure what the hell is going on(=crazy).

the sure thing out of all of this is that i’m doing a hell of a lot more driving. down to sunnyvale almost every day now means that i’m spending two hours of each day trying to fight my driving-induced narcolepsy. i thought i had finally figured out the perfect solution to this: chocolate covered espresso beans. it’s like a little shot of coffee, but without having to carry an actual coffee around. that would spill. or get cold. or mean i would have to sacrifice my valuable passenger seat to a barista.

however, all the chocolate melted around my espresso beans, leaving one big chocolately lump. which some people might call success, but that’s not really the point for this particular application.

anyone have any ideas? besides installing a tiny fridge in my tiny trunk, that is.

on the other hand, those clouds sure are pretty every day.
