catching up

cat power finally showed up for her concert on wednesday, after cancelling the first one in february. she certainly put on a good show, but we both agreed that she’s just too self-conscious to not make it a little awkward. she sure is cute with her little moves, but in some ways you really pine for a performer who’s comfortable with her stage presence and who can really open up to the audience and put up a good show. where’s bjork or pj when you need them?
