the loot and the haul

i certainly don’t want to put up a list of everything we got, but i did want to touch on three things:

1. egg and muffin toaster. yes, you laugh, but now lazy people like me can get eggs and toast every morning. hmc loves it. i love it. and you can blame my parents for suggesting it in the first place. you know you want one!
2. john hodgman’s the areas of my expertise. it’s fucking hilarious. i have laughed out loud at least seven times. SEVEN, i say. get it now. or i’ll have to get it for all of you on your birthday. get older soon.
3. we received an incredible assortment of dvd’s for xmas from just about everybody. note that hmc “accidentally” forwarded her amazon wishlist on top of mine to her grandparents, so that i “coincidentally” kept getting dvd’s for xmas from them that were actually ones that she wanted. well played, hmc, well played.
