i got my registration and sticker from the dmv today, and i guess there really is a grace period, even for late registrations. not only did they send me my sticker, they even refunded me the last late fee bump, which i paid because i postmarked it one day past the deadline.
hooray for the dmv! man, that arnold must be a great governator.
